Dr. Luiz Philipe Molina Vana, MD, PhD, plastic surgeon, earned his medical degree at the University of São Paulo Medical School (Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo – FMUSP), where he also completed his surgical training with residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He completed a special training program in Plastic Surgery at the Shriners Burns Institute, affiliated with the Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School). He holds a doctorate degree in Surgical Practice from USP.

Dr. Molina Vana is a specialist and a full member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Brazilian Burn Society. He is part of Nevus.org and is the Scientific Director of the Latin American Federation of Burns.

He is the standing President of the Brazilian Society of Burns and is an Attending Physician at the University of São Paulo Medical School.

Dr. Molina Vana is a member of the clinical staff of some the most renowned hospitals in São Paulo, such as Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, Hospital 9 de Julho, Hospital Oswaldo Cruz, and Hospital São Luís, among others.

He works in his private practice, located in Jardins, São Paulo, and is credentialed to perform surgeries at the city’s main hospitals.
